Leo Bonding Night was taken place at the Merced Boy's and Girl's Club on a friday night. That night Gold Valley, Merced High, and El Capitan's Leo came together and bonded. I also forgot to mention the Omega Leo Club. The Omega Leo Club are similar as high school leo clubs but it consists of people in college. Everyone got to make new friends, play games, and eat delicious yummy free food.

Medic Alert is a yearly event that takes place in Turlock. Rides were provided as usual and we had to be there by 6:54 in the morning. This event is a fundraiser to raise money for bracelets. I know what you're thinking, raising money for bracelets? What? But these aren't just ordinary bracelets, these are bracelets that are almost over $100! These bracelets are worn by patients and these bracelets specify what a patient contains. For an example: cancer. It's a great way to help and reach out to your community. We helped set up booths, face painted, provided carnival games, cleaned up and MUCH more. Also the most important thing, FREE FOOD!! YASSSS!!!!!! Hopefully Stacey doesn't kill me for always talking about free food all the time. ;) LOL! Take a look! It was definitely a heard place to find, but we all got there somehow. We helped served food, cleaned up trash, and once again.............FREE FOOD. It was a fundraising dinner that was hosted by the Lions. It was a crazy night. From left to right you could hear people making bids. The bids went as high as to $300 for cake! The Castle Airport Cockpit was extremely fun. Obviously I wouldn't have to tell you, you would already know by looking at the photos below. Click the button below for a glimpse of what our Leo Club members did at the Castle Airport Cockpit. Check it out!! Once again we have teamed up with Merced High's Leo Club for a fun event. We set up food(of course we got free food), played volleyball, and threw water balloons. It was actually the first time the Lions Club has ever held this event this year.
Awe, freshmen. It's the start of a new school year and we're advertising Leo Club as much as we can. Yup, that's right. PHO!!! Every year someone is always graduating from school and is holding a huge party. They need volunteers, and that is what we are here for. We helped serve food and cleaned up. Easy hours, but yet, there's still fun. Look at these beautiful, dedicated members. We set up tables, chairs, umbrellas and served food. To be honest, we didn't do much. We were pretty laid back the whole time and even got free food! YES TO FREE FOOD!!!!! It was definitely a great event because most of us interacted with the people who came. They were such friendly guests. Did we participate in the marathon you say....Well we didn't run....Thank goodness!!! Instead, we gave drinks out to those who ran. Not only was El Capitan's Leo Club there, but El Capitan's KIWIN'S and Atwater's Cross Country was there as well. This event was located at the AMTRAK downtown in Merced. Digging holes and planting, yup! that's what we did. It was definitely a test of our strength. We went home with blisters, but hey we were fed and we made a difference in our community. Not only that we were in the Merced Sun Star. Want to see more information, click the link below.
