Annual Peace for Families March: 10/04/2017
For this event, a huge number of our members were able to march with others to promote awareness about domestic violence and its impact within our community. We were able to march from the Courthouse Park to Applegate Park and from there, they had activities, food, music, stories from domestic abuse survivors, and etc. “NO EXCUSE FOR DOMESTIC ABUSE, STOP THE VIOLENCE!!!” I hope the best for everyone and thank you to the members who showed up and helped support! You know, not every event is about community service hours. You get to learn new things and the events open up your mind about the world/life and to what you never thought of. Like, domestic abuse still happens but YOU can make the change. Thank you to Nicky (FRESHMEN REP) for taking the pictures! **Captions on Pictures!! |
